The Viet Truong cable dead-end clamp securely grips 2-core or 4-core low-voltage twisted aluminum cable with 0,6/1kV XLPE insulation, of the self-supporting type designated [LV-ABC]. The plastic clamping jaws grip the cable cores, while the body connects to a hook bolt ,double cable suspension hook or single cable suspension hook secured to the utility pole, thereby dead-ending and suspending the aerial cable.
Construction:
- Clamping jaws: made of glass-fiber-reinforced plastic, resistant to ultraviolet radiation, cracking, aging and corrosion, and suitable for reliable operation in tropical, marine and industrially polluted environments… The jaws do not damage the cable insulation.
- Outer clamp body: consists of 2 steel bars with thicknesses of 2.5mm; 3mm; 4mm;…The metal components are made of stainless steel or hot-dip galvanized steel.
- The edges of the metal bars are rounded to minimize the risk of cable damage.
- A spring between the clamping jaws opens them automatically when the tightening bolt is loosened, allowing the cable to be inserted easily.
