ABC cable suspension clamp construction
The cable suspension clamp is installed outdoors on utility poles to support the overhead low-voltage power-line system and consists of the following parts:
– Clamp body: has an opening for attachment to a hook bolt , double cable suspension hook ,single cable suspension hook or a suspension bracket mounted on the utility pole, and includes 1 hot-dip galvanized steel bolt and 1 wing nut.
– Cable-supporting liner: made of weather-resistant outdoor-grade plastic and designed not to damage the cable insulation.
The edges of the metal bars are rounded to minimize the risk of scratching or cutting through the insulation and damaging the cable.
